Southern Hospitality

Lake County Theatre Company (LCTC) is ready to roll out the red carpet for their Lake County fans with the up-coming comedy, Southern Hospitality, written by the team of Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.

This hilarious show will take place at The Lower Lake School House Museum, Weaver Auditorium in Lower Lake in September...  What we all need during an economic downturn is an entertainment upturn, and LCTC has got it!

The Story:
This crazy play is set in Fayro Texas and it offers up the four Futrelle sisters, three of whom are looking for love in all the wrong places.  Then there is an innocent young couple who lose their innocence to a casino, a sheriff's deputy whose biggest recent crime spree involves "illegal dumpster diving," a gun-toting lady general from "the Battle of Vicksburg," a henpecked husband who is trying to recapture his youth while avoiding his wife's wrath, and an eighty-year-old maiden aunt with a really bad attitude.

What else is LCTC doing to stimulate fun in this economy?

Why, trimming the prices, of course!  All tickets will be only $10!  Reserved seating and everthing!

Reserved tickets may be purchased at Catfish Books in Lakeport (263-4454), while General Seating tickets are available at the School House Museum in Lower Lake (995-3565) and Wild About Books in Clearlake (994-9433).  ~~  See Where to buy for ticket locations.

The "funniest show in years" will take place September 11-12th and 18-19th at 7:00 p.m., with Matinées on September 13th and 20th at 2:00 p.m.  There will only be 80 seats available for each show, so get your tickets early and get ready to laugh!  More info is available at 279-2595.  We'll see you there!
